I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of South Carolina. I have a passion for helping individuals thrive and understand themselves on a deeper level. I believe that self-awareness is the key to growth, healing, and lasting change.
Along with being an LPC, I am also a Certified Equine-Assisted Psychotherapist through EAGALA and enjoy incorporating the role horses can play in an individual's healing journey. My passion for experiential therapy has expanded to include my own goat herd, providing another unique way for clients to engage in the therapeutic process. While I value the traditional counseling office, I recognize that some individuals connect best outside of four walls—whether alongside horses, with the goats, or simply in nature.
I hold an M.S. in Clinical Counseling from Charleston Southern University. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Asheville, where I also competed in Division I cross-country and track. I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Counseling and Psychological Studies through Regent University.
I have worked with a variety of populations, but especially enjoy working with children, teens, young adults, and families. My experience as an Early Interventionist continues to shape my work with children while supporting parents as they navigate the challenges of parenthood.
My clinical specialties include Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, ADHD, depression, relationship concerns, eating disorders, and self-esteem challenges. I also enjoy helping children, teens, and families navigate family transitions, separation and divorce, social and peer challenges, and relationship difficulties.
